Bio
Jimmy Whisper is what the 60's must have been on the beach. Based out of Miami, FL, this 25 year old Puerto Rican musician has soul like Hector Lavoe and contagious catch like the Beatles. His gold psychedelic debut album, "50ft Woman" is an ode to women, love, the beach, sex and humor. Jimmy Whisper's voice, smooth with purpose, leads all the songs masterfully through several genres ranging from samba to folk, blues to reggae, salsa to jazz.
Jimmy Whisper is James J. Partridge, the same singer who led the progressive/metal band, Twice The Sun, to a record deal with Roadrunner Records in 2000 and the same guy who fronted Forelle, the alternative band that won MTV's first Best Band On Campus award in 2004. Their song Fractions was featured on the Advance Warning, an MTV compilation. And their music videos were featured on MTV, MTV2, and MTVU. Along with that he has produced other music such as, Translucia (www.myspace.com/translucia) and he is currently working on a project named World War Bango (www.myspace.com/wwbango). He's a hungry musician going nowhere but up.
