Bio

There is not a great way to describe Atlas because the best way to understand is through the music. To create this signature and diverse style, Atlas combines a refreshing blend of syncopated guitar rhythms, driving drum grooves, strong ba*s, and powerful vocals topped off with tasteful keyboard parts, all of which come together to generate something larger than the sum of its members. Atlas song topics are as dynamic as any individual. Everyone deals with love, loss, frustration, and happiness, everyone has political beliefs, and everyone is looking for something to connect to, and its listeners find something in this music that speaks to them in a way that is impossible in daily interaction. Atlas began in 2005 at Christopher Newport University. A few lineup changes and a year under their belt, Atlas has begun to show the world what it has to offer. Only time will tell how big a world Atlas will hold on its shoulders.

Band members include: Graham Todd (lead vocals), Cody Zimmerman (bass), Walter Pierce (guitar, piano, backup vocals), Joe Hamm (drums), and Nate Fender (guitar, piano, backup vocals)
