I DO MAKE MY OWN BEATS. word uppers.

Bio

Born in Lafayette, Colorado I've been playing instruments since the 4th grade and loving everyday of expanding my musical knowledge of what I'm capable of. When my brother moved to the Mission District in San Francisco, California I began to really saturate that market with tapes and stickers in order to begin to test the waters of my music outside of my comfort zone.

2006 was really when I began to play shows (because I believe in letting things wait until they are right before you do them) and within that year I played the Colorado DMC Finals, hosted the annual Colorado Welcome Back Fest, Toofy Film Festival, City Parks Black Arts Festival, and SXSW.

I was fortunate enough to also play shows with: Cage, Boot Camp Click, Sole, Murs, The Pharcyde, Shape Shifters, The Roots, Zebrahead, Edan, Grayskul, 9th Wonder, Fat Lip, Omni, Blackalicious and some others which slip my mind. To say the least I feel very fortunate to have had those experiences and only look to grow musically within myself and create my music the way I need to by keeping my senses open to the world and staying comfortable with people and environments around me.

Discography

1865- Released summer of 2004 (apartment demos)
Dark Matter- Releasing December 20 2006!!!!! (studio recorded)

Influences

Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Biggie Smalls, Danzing for writing Mother, my theme song!, my astronomy education, seeing saturn and its rings the shadow on the planet from the rings, webster cash, stephen hawking, and my eye balls and the over all lost of musicianship in hip hop music.

Sounds Like

A mix between the old souls of Curtis Mayfield and The Dap Kings with some early RZA mixed with Prince Paul and myself in audio waves.

I do make all my own beats.
