Bio

Formed in Early 2005, Astrea started like every other band, with a desire to write and play music they truly enjoy that spoke to both they and their audience..

We play shows all over the New England area, we've been lucky enough to have formed a great fan base who always show their support by coming out to the shows and enjoying our music. Every show is an adventure and the feeling of being on stage keeps us coming back and wanting more. As Astrea we are driven to take our music as far as we can, write the best songs we know how and enjoy every second of it. We view every obstacle as a just bump in the road, and it just makes us work even harder.

In the winter of 06' we recorded and released our first 3 song demo. The response was greater then we anticipated, and we continued to play as many shows a possible throughout the year, playing with some great bands. In the summer of 06' we toured down the East Coast on our first tour, released a 2 song demo recorded ourselves at Attic Sound Studio and mixed by Scott Riebling(Weezer, Fall Out Boy). We are currently recording our first EP titled "Departure"(produced and recorded by Scott Riebling). We are so excited about this EP and we hope that this is just the beginning of Astrea's future.

We are driven to take this band to the next level, and take whoever is willing with us. (wink wink) Thank You to all of the bands that help us out all the time. And THANK YOU to everyone who listens, comments, votes, and sends us messages. We read every one even though we may not be able to respond, we are very busy boys. THANK YOU!!!!!!
