Bio

Max Payne, Eazy Money, Meaty, Too Smooth, and Tiga began their relationship at McDonogh 35 High School in New Orleans, LA. At LSU Smooth began to record songs on a tape recorder and the remaining members joined him when he brought his recording to the dorm room. Da Franchise was then established. The five of them made music using their unique style and musical background from their days in the McDonogh 35’s New Orleans style marching band. What surprised the first-time rappers was how good they all sounded. Business who immediately related to the existing members because of his roots as a resident of New Orleans 13th ward also mixed well in the booth with his distinct flow and unique ad-libs.

During this time, Dem Franchise Boyz, were receiving acclaim for their hit single “White Tee”. After being confused with Dem Franchise Boyz, the group decided to stick with the “DF” theme and went with a name that best describes their status, Da Future. The motto they use is, “We Da Future, it aint just a name”. You can catch Da Future performing at all types of events around the Baton Rouge area. They dropped the instant classic “R.I.P. Mixtape Murder” this past summer and it can be downloaded for FREE at www.lyricalmasterminds.com. You can also check out their myspace page at www.myspace.com/futureboyz7.
