What up world. Welcome to the Lucky for Me site. We like to think our music inspires, so please give us a shot. We hail from the great Happy Valley of State College, Pennsylvania. Come check out our style when you are in the Penn State area. Our debut EP "Cut to the Chase" is now available!

Bio

Lucky for Me is the piano pop rock band who's songs will be stuck in your head for days. Guitarist Brian Campbell, bassist Brian Mink, singer Joe Lavin, pianist Kevin King, and drummer Danny Hadas, are the five Penn State group members. Their mix of intricate piano riffs, catchy rhythms, and power vocals give this Penn State band its originality. The members have been together since December of 2006 and success has rapidly followed them. Their cover play list continuously expanded to fill large solo bar scene sets while they wrote a demo of originals along the way. “Cut to the Chase” is Lucky for Me’s debut and features: My Heaven, Save it, Favorite Person, The War and Tequila Sunrise. The music on “Cut to the Chase” reaches far beyond any new band’s expectations of novice prediction. The untrained vocals of Joe, and the musically experienced, former violinist, Kevin, make the combination essential to declaring this band a musically independent sound in contemporary times. The talent of this group has yet to be fully explored. We are full time students. So for now, enjoy what we have. Until then... sit back, relax, and watch the magic unfold.
