Bio
P.O.E stands for Process of Elimination, a group that was formed in 2002 at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Their love for music brought them together like many other artists and groups. In its first two years, P.O.E consisted of three members, two singers and one rapper. Looking to expand its talent pool and establish itself as a legitimate musical group, P.O.E welcomed to the group one additional rapper and one additional singer in 2004. Since the merger of its five group members, P.O.E has found success at Rider University. They have performed at various talents shows such as RiderPalooza, an event for Rider students showcasing up and coming talent at Rider University, and collaborated with other artists on and off campus. In 2005, the group received an award from the Black Student Union of Rider University for its contributions to a successful Gospel Fest held on campus. The group met great success and publicity in 2005 at Rider University when they were signed to an independent label. Unfortunately, the deal fell through due to unforeseen circ**stances. Now after nearly 3 years of composing, collaborating, performing, and bonding as a group, P.O.E is ready to take its unique musical sound across the country and the globe. In P.O.E’s songs, many musical styles ranging from Gospel, African music, R&B, Hip-hop, Rap, Country, Soul, Pop, Rock, Old School, Jazz, and Contemporary Music can be detected. Together, the group has composed over 100 songs in the past years. P.O.E currently creates a majority of their beats and writes all of their lyrics. P.O.E. owns all rights to their lyrics. They also produce, record, and mix all of their songs. The group’s goal is to sign to a major label that would enable them to produce and distribute their music. They also hope to tour and perform in different cities and venues in order to share their love of music with the world.
