Hightide Blues exploded onto the Southeast music scene in 2006 headlining over 100 shows and supporting such National acts as Sister Hazel, Leftover Salmon, the Benjy Davis Project, Zac Brown Band, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
Their debut album “Hightide Blues” recorded in Nashville, TN consists of unique and energy-filled rock with overtones of alt-country set over layers of acoustic and electric guitars and a hard-hitting rhythm section. The band is made up of four college students from Auburn, Alabama balancing finishing their degree and traveling all over the Southeast playing different cities and venues every week winning over fans one at a time. The album truly illustrates the band’s wide range of musical influences including everyone from the Black Crowes & Ryan Adams to Jack Johnson & Ben Harper just to name a few.
Hightide Blues is one of the fastest upcoming bands on the scene today appearing numerous times on live television in Birmingham, landing a sponsorship from Sweet**ter Brewing Company in Atlanta, filming a music video with the same production company that has worked with The Fray and the Foo Fighters, and releasing their first self-titled debut album in February of this year.
